Monel K500 Socket Weld Forged Fittings (UNS N05500) are nickel-based alloys that contain between 29 and 34 percent copper. Although the grade can be cold worked or tempered to upsurge its properties, Monel K500 Socket Weld Fittings is supplied in the annealed form as standard. These amplified properties in Monel K500 Forged Socket Weld Fittings, hardness and strength, are obtained by adding aluminium and titanium to the nickel-copper base and by a thermal processing used to effect precipitation, typically called aging or age hardening. Cap Fitting is particularly resistant to de-areated hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acids, but it is quickly destroyed when exposed to ammonia systems and nitric acids.

Monel K500 Forged Socket Weld Tees are known for their corrosion resistance, durability, and high tensile strength. Niobium is also used in Monel K500 Forged Socket Weld Lateral Tee to stabilize it against sensitization and the resulting intergranular corrosion.
