It has been proven that Hastelloy C22 Forged Fittings is more resistant to the oxidizing media, even at higher temperatures, than Hastelloy C276 Forged Fittings. However, in the reducing environments both UNS N10276 Forged Fittings and UNS N06022 Forged Fittings behave the same. Hastelloy C22 Forged Socket Weld Coupling Fittings has outstanding resistance to both reducing and oxidizing media, and because of its versatility can be used where “upset” conditions are likely to occur or in multipurpose plants. Hastelloy C22 Forged Socket Weld Tee Fittings which have been hot formed or severely cold formed should be heat treated at 2050 Degree F and rapid quenched prior to final fabrication or installation.
