Inconel Alloy 825 Hex Bars is a precipitation hardened, Nickel-based, super alloy that can withstand extreme temperatures both in the hot and cold end of the spectrum. Inconel Alloy 825 Bars is solution heat treated at 1850 Degree F - 1900 Degree F and aged at 1450 Degree F for six to eight hours and air cooled finally. Generally, Inconel Alloy 825 Rods can be hardened by solid solution strengthening or precipitation of intermetallic compounds within the metal matrix. Inconel UNS N08825 Rod is readily fabricated and may be welded in either the annealed or precipitation (age) hardened condition.
