Mangalam Metal is a prominent manufacturer of Hastelloy Alloy C22 Round Bars, which are typically used in high temperature applications. Hastelloy C22 Bright Bars is used at very long ageing times at service temperature, decomposes to the stable Ni3Nb phase, where this latter phase is also present above the salvos and is used for grain control during forging of alloy. Due to its high strength to weight ratio, Hastelloy C22 Flat Bars is also used in aeronautical and aerospace industry. Hastelloy C22 Threaded Bars has excellent welding characteristics, especially its resistance to post weld cracking, areoutstanding. Hastelloy C22 Hex Bars high temperature strength is developed by solid solution strengthening or precipitation hardening, depending on the alloy. Hastelloy C22 Forged Bars should be forged from a maximum furnace temperature of 2050 Degree F (1120 Degree C) and should not be soaked for an overly long time at this temperature.
The room temperature strength of UNS N06022 Round Bar is substantially increased by precipitation heat treatment as the following data indicate. DIN 2.4602 Rods has yield tensile strength, creep, and rupture strength properties that are exceedingly high. The original inspiration for Hastelloy C22 Bars was a novel, high strength material used in steam lining for pipes carrying pressurized steam in power plants. The annealed condition of Hastelloy C22 Rods will give a slightly longer tool life.
